With that in mind, beware of Baby Yoda bootleg merchandise. Pre-sale purchases of Baby Yoda plushies and other toys will also be available in the next few weeks, though it remains unclear when the products will be shipped.
Baby Yoda is so cute, it's already launched a thousand memes and even spawned an article in Elle magazine, for Fett's sake. But the cultural conversation around Disney Plus quickly shifted to "The Mandalorian", its marquee big-budget series, and especially Baby Yoda.

A Lucasfilm rep tweeted Thursday, "DEVELOPING: Of COURSE there's gonna be little guy merch!", along with Baby Yoda image. George Lucas has never revealed details about Yoda's race or homeworld, with the official Star Wars Databank only listing of a "species unknown". Since then, viewers, fans and us at Geek Culture can't stop squealing over the little ball of cuteness we lovingly call 'Baby Yoda'.
Obviously, given the buzz and success of the new Disney+ series, we can fully expect there to be even more Mandalorian toys in the works right now. Just in time for The Holidays, CNBC has learned that Disney has rolled out new Star Wars merchandise set to be available at popular retail stores across the nation very soon.
"The Mandalorian", set five years after the events of "Return of the Jedi" and 25 years before "The Force Awakens" (2015), is the first of several planned movies and TV shows that will branch off from the core nine movies known as the Skywalker saga.
Amazon was selling T-shirts, hoodies, and more featuring the adorable "Star Wars" child. Is that why the remnants of the Empire want it captured?
