On Friday, October 11, the former One Direction member unveiled his newest single, "Lights Up", along with its accompanying music video, and needless to say, fans are nearly too excited about what Styles has in store for his upcoming album.
Harry Styles fans, do we have a treat for you! But on a day of LGBTQ visibility, "Lights up and they know who you are/Do you know who you are?" sound like a rallying cry.
The hedonistic yet moody music video for Lights Up sees a topless Styles grinding and dancing with other shirtless men and women throughout.
The video cuts to Styles in a full sequin outfit on the beach and in a billowy-sleeved number riding on the back of a motorcycle.
Many posted messages on social media expressing their delight - and some said they were so overwhelmed that they were actually in tears. As one admirer noted, 'The amount of questions Harry Styles asks in his song, really stresses me out.
The One Route alum dropped the one Thursday night time (contemplating you're on the west coast), together with a sweaty new music video - all to his followers' shock!
"Thank you for putting out there such a powerful song".
"Lights Up" follows Harry's self-titled debut solo album, which he released in 2017. The release featured the singles "Sign of the Times", "Two Ghosts" and "Kiwi".
Lights Up is the first taster of what's to come with Styles' second record, which has been teased by Stevie Nicks as "spectacular".
