Apple AR Glasses or Headset is coming next year

A Cheaper iPhone Could Boost Apple Sales In early 2020 (AAPL) - Analyst

Apple's AR Headset Expected in Second Quarter of 2020

A new MacBook Pro is also on the cards.

Apple is allegedly creating an augmented reality glasses known as Project StarBoard that they will be launching sometime during the second quarter of 2020.

Some of these devices have been cropping up in various reports and leaks over the years so their existence is not really revelation.

Ming-Chi Kuo, the most accurate and prolific Apple analyst, has another hot tip for us. The only factor that has shifted is the dates. In a recent report shared by 9to5Mac on Thursday, Ming-Chi Kuo said that the new device would have a form factor that's actually similar to the iPhone 8 and that it will come with 3GB worth of RAM.

It's not known yet what price Apple may target for the SE 2 but the original 4-inch iPhone SE which launched in 2016 for the entry-level price of $399 was later reduced to $349.

Kuo has also predicted that the new iPad Pro model would arrive in Q1 in 2020. That includes analyst predictions, supply chain reports and other credible information sourced from insiders.

Kuo claimed in March that Apple would launch an AR product in 2020 that could be ready by the middle of next year, but the analyst now thinks that the launch of the product will happen in the second quarter of next year.

Kuo says the headset could enter mass production as soon as the fourth quarter of this year, in time for launch in early 2020. They might also feature a lightning port for audio and charging. The new models may feature Apple's A13 chip, and sport a new Taptic Engine. The upcoming phones is tipped to be available for pre-order on September 13 and in-store availability is set to start on September 20.

Building more advanced augmented reality into the iPhone - a device that millions of people all over the world are already using - could help Apple drum up anticipation for a dedicated AR device. Rumors of such a headset have persisted for years at this point, and after all that talk, we may finally see Apple's AR hardware launch at some point next year.
