As Kevin Hart recovers from back surgery following his September 1 auto accident in Los Angeles, his longtime friend Tiffany Haddish has good news about his condition.

Aside from cracking a few jokes at Kevin Hart's expense, The Rock wished his "best friend" a speedy recovery.

Last week, we reported that Dwayne Johnson would be appearing on the brand new Kelly Clarkson Show, standing in for Kevin Hart who was originally scheduled to appear. I spoke with Kevin - I connected with him today.

Dwayne continued: 'You know what? Furthermore, they don't want fans to worry so his wife, Eniko Parrish, has put on a strong face and is saying that he is doing well, but it's very serious.

Johnson continued by teasing his much-shorter friend, quipping that "thankfully he was strapped in nicely to his auto seat" and sharing that the "pediatrician" gave a good report, before switching to a serious note. Thank god. It could've been a lot worse.

Calling Kevin lucky, Dwayne concluded, "So, he's a lucky man... and he knows it too". "As far as I know, from the last I heard, he's fine".

"He's already walking. He's good", she added.

Hart was one of three people involved in a recent crash in Calabasas, California, according to a California Highway Patrol incident report obtained by CNN. According to the information, Hart was admitted to the hospital in California on 1 September after being badly injured in a major auto accident. Even after the accident, Hart was able to move out of the crash scene with the other unhurt passenger, and move to his home to get the medical attention.

Hart was injured in a vehicle accident in the early morning hours of September 1, and according to a TMZ, he was not driving the Plymouth Barracuda, a classic auto he'd purchased to celebrate his 40th birthday back in July, at the time of the crash. It is being told that the physical therapy of the actor will start soon.
