Apple TV+ launched at Rs 99 per month to take OTT industry by storm

Apple Arcade will be available on 19 September and cost $4.99

This date was announced the Apple's iPhone launch event on Tuesday, where the firm also announced that its Apple Arcade game subscription service will also arrive on the same date. Series slated for Apple TV+ include a drama about a broadcast morning show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

At the same time, the Apple Arcade subscription service will be launched on Sept 19 in over 100 markets, including Singapore, for S$6.98 a month.

The service will be available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac and other platforms, including online at tv.apple.com, for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. One report had suggested that Apple TV+ would cost $9.99.

Apple's first-ever video game subscription service, Apple Arcade, is scheduled to arrive in Australia on September 20.

The group said the new iPad, its most affordable yet, is available to order from today and will be in stores starting Monday, September 30.

Apple TV Plus has marked November 1 as the Canadian launch date for a selection of celebrity-stacked TV shows, movies and documentaries, kicking off what's expected to be a heated battle for subscribers.

The big question surrounds the content that will be included in the service - Apple says it plans to unveil more games in the coming weeks.

Apple TV+ content will be available through the company's existing Apple TV app, offering access to exclusive movies, shows, and documentaries from an impressive roster of filmmakers, writers, and performers.

Konami's Frogger in Toy Town is an updated version of the iconic game in which you rescue friends while utilizing powerups. It was beforehand introduced that the streamer would even be ad-free.
