Lows bottom out in the mid to upper 70s with a few lingering clouds. Any clouds should slowly dissipate as we lose the heat of the day. Any storms should taper off by the evening. However, most of this activity will stay well east of the metro, but could affect some of our eastern counties early on Tuesday.
We will have showers and storms on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid to low 80s. Highs will return to the low 90's with afternoon heat index values back to the triple digits (100 to 105). Then we will see partly to mostly sunny and hot conditions. It's not as hot, with highs in the 80s. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is on the way after 1 p.m., with the potential for gusty winds and heavy rain.
It is mainly cloudy with a few showers/storms are possible mid-morning. The threat of severe weather with this next round of storms appears low at this time. Instead, we are basking in sunshine to kick off this weekend. By morning, we wake up to some patchy fog and lows in the 60s in Milwaukee to upper 50s inland.
Tomorrow (Tuesday): It's more or less a repeat of Monday, with highs in the mid-90s, but storms may be somewhat more numerous (30 percent chance).
