Modern Warfare features cutting-edge visuals, authentic sound design, with realistic recoil and weapon ballistics throughout the game. Modern Warfare will support cross-play between PC, Xbox One and PS4. Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the all-new Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® multiplayer universe to all gamers with a thrilling multiplayer premiere trailer.

According to its description, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare engulfs fans in an incredibly raw, gritty, provocative narrative that brings unrivaled intensity and shines a light on the changing nature of modern war. Thanks to crossplay, players can trial these and the new guns, ammo types and projectile weapons coming to Modern Warfare on willing test subjects across PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via on October 25. There are the classics, of course, l ike Team Deathmatch and Domination, but the new modes like Cyberr Attack, Ground War, and Gunfight gives this soft reboot an edge that both veterans of the series will enjoy, as well as newcomers.

Once the open beta wraps up, we don't have much longer to wait before the actual game launches.

Today, 30 Livestreamers from across the world have been given a first look for themselves at Modern Warfare multiplayer, and viewers everywhere have been given the chance to tune-in for all the action via the Modern Warfare Multiplayer Universe unveiling.

Among other things announced, Infinity Ward reaffirmed that there will be no season pass and that post launch there will be free maps for everyone.

The first beta weekend is exclusive to PlayStation 4 users and will occur from September 14 to 16, with players who pre-order the game getting two days of early access starting on September 12.
