Disney Cancels 'Descendants 3' Red Carpet Event to Honor Cameron Boyce

"Preliminary information suggests the death occurred under natural circumstances", a news release from the coroner states. The rising star passed away on July 6 after suffering a seizure due to a medical condition he had, Epilepsy.

Two days later, "an autopsy was performed and the cause and manner of death were deferred pending additional testing", the coroner said.

The family asked for privacy as they make funeral arrangements.

He's still grieving, but the support of the fans seems to be helping and Boyce's father shared a look at the actor, revealing a look at his child taken just a few short hours before his death last weekend.

The actor's "Descendants" co-star Dove Cameron also posted a tearful six-part video on Instagram, referring to Boyce as an "earth angel". "I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I'm feeling but no one is immune to tragedy", he wrote, alongside a sweet image of Cameron, before thanking everyone for their support.

Boyce snr also thanked his son's fans for the "outpouring of love and support" his family had received, saying it was "so lovely and appreciated".

Cameron's on screen parents from Grown Ups 1 and 2, Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek, shared heart felt responses to his early passing.

The company said, with permission from the Boyce family, the Disney Channel will dedicate the telecast of "Descendants 3" in Cameron's memory.

Boyce worked with Disney Channel beginning in 2011 on the series Jessie and the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise Descendants, which revolves around the offspring of famous Disney villains.
