Birthday Cake Decorator Mistakes ‘Moana’ For ‘marijuana’

Confused pastry maker gets request for Moana cake bakes marijuana cake instead

A pastry maker reportedly got mixed up by a request for a Moana-themed cake and designed a pot-inspired dessert instead

An order for a "Moana" cake was placed at a bakery but was misheard.

Daughter Kensli Davis took the mistake in her stride and shared the hilarious mix-up on Facebook.

USA woman Kensli Taylor Davis wrote on Facebook that her mother had knew about her fondness of the Disney movie Moana and made a decision to surprise her with a special birthday cake with pictures of its characters.

Tammy Davis had asked the bakery to make a cake with Moana on top, in honor of her daughter Kensli's favorite character, for her 25th birthday party over the weekend in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Her mom ordered the cake because she is a huge fan of the 2016 Disney film "Moana".

Instead of a cake featuring the image of the animated teen adventurer, the confection featured a giant green cannabis leaf in icing next to a red-eyed My Little Pony with a similar leaf on its rump exhaling a puff of smoke.

What she got was not quite as family-friendly as she had envisioned.

"That ice cream cake was still good though", she said with a shrug. However, Mom says the mix up was innocent enough and the artwork was very well done. (Because really I do).

'Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana.

The Facebook post was quick to go viral and has received more than 11,000 shares and over 10,000 likes.
