Apple has released iOS 12.3 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

With this new Apple TV Channels interface, users will be able to directly add their paid streaming services directly into the Apple-design UI, including fan favorites like Showtime and Starz. Among them include the new Apple TV app.

More important to Apple's bottom line, the app also will allow users to sign up and pay for channels they do not already subscribe to without creating new passwords or downloading additional apps.

In the U.S., its roster of paid channels includes HBO, Starz, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, Epix, Tastemade, and MTV Hits.

Apple's Amazon Channels arrives with a fairly full lineup of more than 150 video apps including HBO, which was rumored to be on the fence about joining the service.

In addition to using the Apple TV app on the company's own hardware devices, the service is also available on the 2019 Samsung Smart TVs, as well as select 2018 models.

When we asked when other TV brands would get the app, Apple declined to comment beyond saying "it will come in the future". The app isn't appearing in the App Store's search results as yet, but you can access it directly here.
