News of the alleged casting deal comes from Variety, which reported on Friday that Pattinson is now wrapping up negotiations to play Batman in the Matt Reeves flick.
The ink isn't even dry on Robert Pattinson's deal to play Batman in yet another movie reboot and some fans are already mad.
It's not clear whether or not Pattinson will join the current makeup of superheros with Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, and Ezra Miller who play Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash respectively.
"The Batman" is slated for release June 25, 2021. The actor will become the second youngest actor to play Batman. They at first could not believe that Batman could have a replacement.
Pre-production on the Matt Reeves directed film is expected to begin this summer.
Details about the movie are pretty scant on the ground, given Reeve is still polishing the script. Insiders told Variety it could start filming late this year or in early 202o.
