What do you think of Game of Thrones?

Will Jon Snow would end up ruling Westeros? Probably not

This post contains spoilers for the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere, "Winterfell." If the show's final season can manage to top that, then "Game of Thrones" really will be going out on a high.

Indeed, Bran spent the premiere mostly just lurking around Winterfell and sort of generally creeping everybody out with his weird stare, but he saved his best for Jaime Lannister - who he may not (but nearly definitely does) remember pushing him out the window way back in season one, which led to his current predicament. The night was the largest night of streaming ever for HBO, with a jump of 50% of viewing on HBO Now over the Season 7 finale.

The 9:00 P.M. airing of the premiere was viewed by 11.8 million viewers, surpassing the season seven premiere of 10.1 million viewers and slightly behind the season seven finale of 12.1 million viewers. Though we later found out its relevance to the White Walkers, a similar design popped up again in the Season 8 premiere around the wight Ned Umber.

"Thrones" has become a TV blockbuster at a time when there's vast competition from streaming services and social media.

The second episode will air next Sunday at 6 p.m. PT on HBO. Moreover, the third episode happens to be the longest episode of the season, clocking in at one hour 22 minutes. "When we became aware of the error, we immediately fixed it".

Apparently our system was as excited as we are for Game of Thrones tonight and gave a few DirecTV Now customers early access to the episode by mistake.

Another viewer said the premiere was "well done", especially those reunions. In fact, it looks as if he's standing "trial" of sorts, fielding questions from Sansa, Dany, and Jon Snow. "Probably too much information".
