An attorney for The Wendy Williams Show host has confirmed to Page Six, she did file to divorce her husband of 21-years.

Following news of her divorce filing on Thursday, a personal rep for Williams, 54, released a statement to PEOPLE.

While this played out, whispers of Hunter's infidelity - who Williams has said cheated on her in the past (including when their only son was a newborn) - strengthened In late March, reaching a fever-pitch with reports that Hunter's supposed mistress of more than a decade, a woman named Sharina Hudson, had given birth to his baby. Hunter serves as Williams' manager and is also a producer on her show.

Kalisto posted a photo of himself and his wife and Banks with her husband in the Dominican Republic. "Wendy is done. She should have been done a long time ago but she tried to make it work". Guess that $40,000 watch upgrade Hunter gave her last week wasn't enough to keep her around. "I want you to know more of the story". She appeared to put it back on to tape her show later that day, but an insider had told us it wasn't her real ring.

"There is a discussion about what happens now - everyone is asking, 'How can they possibly stay together?' Wendy still loves Kevin, but her health is at stake", a source told Page Six. And don't ask me about mine until you see this gone.

For the record though, this isn't the first time Wendy has hosted her show without her ring on.

In 2008, Hunter was accused of sexually harassing a staffer on his wife's radio show, The Wendy Williams Experience.

It has been a rough couple of months for the 54-year-old, who is now working on her sobriety as her marriage crumbles. Months later Wendy Williams has filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter.

The couple Wednesday on 30 November 1997 and have a son, Kevin Jr. together.

But let's just say, all signs were pointing to Williams being downright unhappy in her current situation.
