As such, I am curious to see just how Respawn will use this experience when making Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While last week fans were high on the anticipation of Star Wars 9-which we now know is titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker-the excitement was undercut a tad when Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that after Skywalker, the films will be taking a bit of a hiatus.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15, 2019.
"This is all speculation on my part, I don't know why the change of heart happened, because that was very clearly not an acceptable plan when we were working on Ragtag!"
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy revealed that following Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the Star Wars team including Rian Johnson and Game of Thrones writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will map out the next decade of Star Wars stories.
According to Eurogamer, the new LEGO Star Wars title could possibly follow the events of the entire saga, from Episode I-IX. "While the trailer was just a bunch of pre-rendered nonsense that showed off nothing about the game, developer Respawn Entertainment's comments that 'There's no multiplayer, and there are no microtransactions" was seen as a move in the right direction for EA. There are a few exceptions but you're more or less with him the whole time.
"I was surprised at how emotional I was about it", he told "GMA".
It's not only one of the best single-player FPS campaigns from this generation, but one can easily make the argument that it's one of the best of all-time. The panel at Star Wars Celebration took a moment to highlight British actress Naomi Ackie, who shared some of the first details about her character. They have not proven lately that they are capable.
Titanfall 2 is a good example of what Respawn can do. This brings up the possibility of the three of them collaborating closely in the writers' room and mind-mapping five to ten years worth of interconnected Star Wars stories, very similar to what Kevin Feige does over at Marvel Studios. It's definitely a bit weird to say that considering the team's origins, but it's not any less true.
