Variety reports that Marvel is bringing a new solo Hawkeye series to the Disney+ streaming platform, giving one of the Avengers' most underappreciated heroes some time in the limelight. However, the truth is more complicated than that: In an interview at the recent Avengers press junket, Joe Russo said that Carol Danvers' new look was a symptom of Marvel's unusual filming schedule.

"I think like every actor you're just like, 'Great, I get more screen time, '" Scarlett Johansson joked. And those were the choices that she and her hair and makeup team had made. Still, we can look back on the other flicks that weren't so lucky, and see how this cut content changes not only their own movie, but in some cases our entire perception of a character's arc. Star Movies is hosting an "Avengers Pop Up" on April 20 and 21 on their channel, which will air "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers" before the release of "Avengers: Endgame", which will open on April 26. That's a problem for an actor in Marvel movies, where protecting spoilers is practically part of the job description. He then mentioned also three characters that weren't in Infinity War: Hawkeye, Captain Marvel and Scott Lang. They've already copped to one big trailer moment not actually being in the movie, and if none of these dialogue scenes appear in the final cut, I'm just going to nod and say, "Yep, that sounds about right".

Actor Mark Ruffalo says he was forced to film five endings for "Avengers: Endgame" because directors were so anxious he would ruin the surprise.

"I shot, like, five different endings to this movie".

If you're expecting Cyclops, Wolverine, and company to rock up after Avengers: Endgame (or even at any point in the near-future of the MCU), you'd better hold your horses.
