Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez all reunited to hit the stage during Ariana Grande's headlining set at Coachella 2019.

"I've been waiting all my motherf-ing life to say this: "NSYNC", Grande said before she and the guys launched into a performance of "Tearin" Up My Heart".

TMZ spoiled the surprise a few days ago, but the rumour proved true: Pop superstar Ariana Grande and 90s boy band sensation 'N Sync collaborated to close down the first weekend of Coachella on Sunday night (minus Justin Timberlake, of course).

Later, the crowd erupted again when Minaj joined in for Side to Side, Grande's 2016 single that she also co-wrote.

In October, Grande broke off her engagement to SNL performer Pete Davidson.

Diddy and Mase, meanwhile, paid tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. with a performance of 'Mo Money Mo Problems'.

One user noted the nostalgic value in Grande's collaboration with the group, praising her for bringing the experience to the stage.

Diddy said Grande is "still standing" after a hard year.

In all, the singer, who is the youngest performer to ever headline Coachella, sang more than 20 songs in a set bookended by "God is a Woman" and 'Thank U, Next'.
