The Giants have reportedly traded star wide receiver Odell Beckham the Cleveland Browns, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

The Giants and Browns did make a deal on Friday, but Beckham wasn't involved, as the Browns acquired pass rusher Olivier Vernon for guard Kevin Zeitler.

Beckham's behavior has been odd at times, but outside of questioning Eli Manning last season he has not been a headache for the Giants on the same level Brown was for the Steelers. We don't know if the Giants are actively shopping Beckham - i.e. if they are trying to find someone who wants to take the wide receiver - or if they are simply listening to teams who call and inquire. Not many would like to see a generational talent like Beckham leave NY.

That team has not been named, but it is an AFC North team. "And huge. Something's cooking".

"There is talk out there that Odell could be traded", Bleacher Report's Matt Miller said on his Stick To Football podcast.

Miller proceeded to point out that if the Giants did trade Beckham that the Browns are "probably a front runner" to do it. Beyond just Landry and second-year quarterback Baker Mayfield, the Browns have another sophomore standout in running back Nick Chubb.

While this move may shock many, this move is something the Browns may have been planning for a while. He has missed 16 games over the last two seasons, but over 12 games last season he produced at a pretty good level (77 receptions, on 124 targets, for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns).
