On Thursday, Stephen Curry joined Warriors broadcaster Tim Roye on his weekly radio show Beyond The Arc on 95.7 The Game to discuss, among other things, team morale in the wake of a recent loss and how they deal with media scrutiny.

Back in November, a 9-year-old Steph Curry fan tried to order his signature shoes online, only to find that Under Armour only listed the shoes in boys' sizes.

Under Armour and Curry asked Riley to add her personal design touch to the UA ICON Curry 6 "United We Win" colorway, featuring a blend of purple and deep orchid with white.

So she wrote Curry a letter, never really expecting a reply from the two-time NBA MVP.

'I want my girls to have that confidence, ' said Curry, who has two young daughters. 'I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock the Curry 5's too'. He also surprised Riley with two pairs of his new Curry 6s on Christmas Day.

Today marks International Women's Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and historical strides made by women of the past, present, and future.

When Riley Morrison wrote a letter to Curry in November 2018, the three-time National Basketball Association champion immediately responded back to let her know he was going to work with Under Armour to correct the problem in time for the release of his shoes in March.

Customers can purchase the "United We Win" Under Armour Curry 6 starting on March 8 when it releases at underarmour.com and the SC30 x Oakland pop-up for $130.

"I was immediately impressed when I saw Riley's letter; that a 9-year-old girl had the courage to use her voice to call attention to an issue and keep us accountable", Curry said in a statement to Under Armour.

"She was focused on the opportunity for ALL girls, not just herself".
