He's averaging 20.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game this season and could boost the playoff prospects of a Utah team that now sits in seventh in the Western Conference standings.

With the Memphis Grizzlies finally realizing their fate and having to rebuild, the team made it known that they would exploring trades for Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.

$153 million for a solid point guard was seen as a large check at the time, and Memphis is no longer interested in cashing that straight to Conley's direct deposit. While Gasol holds a player option for next season, they'll be particularly motivated to move Conley.

Lowry is averaging 14.1 points, 9.2 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game this season.

Conley, 31, has two years remaining on a contract that pays him $32.5 million in 2019-20 and $34.5 million in 2020-21. A big difference with Rubio's $15 million deal.

Rubio is averaging 12.8 points and 6.1 assists per game and he'll be a free agent this summer. Valanciunas, 26, was playing some of the best basketball of his career before injuring his hand against the Golden State Warriors in early December. Valanciunas has played his entire career in Toronto since being selected fifth overall by the Raptors in the 2011 NBA Draft.

"Knowing what's possible after tonight, it's going to be hard for a lot of us, especially myself with all the years we've played together", teammate Mike Conley told reporters before Tuesday's game.

SiriusXM's Mitch Lawrence reports that the Raptors are willing to include Delon Wright and a first-round pick in the deal.
