Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots and Overwatch League team Boston Uprising, is one of more than two dozen charged Friday with soliciting prostitutes in connection with a sweeping almost year-long investigation into human trafficking across South Florida, police said.
"We're talking about human trafficking, and we're talking about prostitution", he said.
Once the warrant is issued, Kraft will get a summons in the mail to appear in court. He is one of about 200 people expected to be charged as part of a massive bust of a globe-spanning sex trafficking ring.
Kerr said that an arrest warrant will be issued for Kraft.
Police in Vero Beach announced the arrest of eight other suspects linked to three massage parlors, plus almost 200 men who solicited prostitution.
In a statement, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said, "The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments". His profile has climbed in recent seasons, with each Super Bowl trophy the team has won, including this month's championship victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
According to Forbes, Kraft's is worth $6.6 billion dollars.
Although this information was announced in a separate news conference from Friday's disclosure of Kraft's alleged involvement, they are products of the same investigation. According to The Boston Globe, he has been in a relationship described as "on-again, off-again" with Ricki Noel Lander. The average cost for services is $59 to $79 per hour.

According to pool reports, Trump said, "Well it's very sad, I was very surprised to see it".
In 2007, the Patriots were caught filming signals from New York Jets coaches; New England was suspected of doing so against other teams as well, and that was confirmed later on.
Mr. Kraft has owned the Patriots since 1994.
A friend of President Trump and frequent visitor to Mar-a-Lago, Kraft was in the area as recently as this past weekend, when he attended a fundraiser at The Breakers for the Everglades Foundation. He hired Bill Belichick as coach in 2000, and the team later drafted quarterback Tom Brady, launching its almost two decades of success.
