Three classic ‘Resident Evil’ games come to the Switch on May 21st

Capcom has finally announced release dates for the trio of Resident Evil games that were announced previous year for Switch. In Europe, all three games will be sold separately digitally. These Gamecube releases are the versions that will be ported to the Switch eShop. There's no word right now on Resident Evil 4.

Something to look forward to: Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 have been around for years but their launch on the Switch is significant as it affords a rare opportunity to play them on the go.

Today, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil HD Remaster, Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 4 will all release on Nintendo Switch on May 21st in all regions.

The Full Package edition includes three mission packs and over 30 items previously released as DLC. For further news regarding Resident Evil games coming to the Switch, keep an eye on Capcom's website.

Resident Evil Zero acts as a prequel to the legendary series, detailing the events that took place in the iconic Racoon City mansion leading up to the original Resident Evil 1. You can pre-order both bundles now via the Square Enix store.
