Filmmakers like Mani Ratnam and wife Suhasini Maniratnam, KS Ravikumar, and Selvaraghavan attended the wedding festivities too.

Earlier, prior to their wedding, a sangeet and mehendi ceremony was held in Chennai on Sunday.

At the gala occasion, the "2.0" star was seen dancing spontaneously to the famous "Okade okkadu monagadu" song from "Muthu".

Both Soundarya and Vishagan are starting their new journeys in their lives after their failed marriages in the past. Soundarya legally ended her seven-year marriage to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar in 2017. Also seen at the function were Rajinikanth's elder daughter Aishwarya, son-in-law Dhanush and their children and music director Anirudh Ravichander.

Having started her career as a graphic designer, Soundarya has worked in films like "Baba", "Majaa", "Sandakozhi" and "Sivaji". Vishagan owns a pharmaceutical company and had made his acting debut with the film Vanjagar Ulagam.
