The State, particularly Perth, has experienced higher than average flu cases this year, with 390 laboratory-confirmed cases for January - nearly double the number for the same month in the previous two years.
Three more people in DE have died from the flu.
For the same time period in the 2017-18 flu season, there were 130 deaths. Jamie Dukes with the Oklahoma Health Department says hospitalizations are 522 statewide, with 22 fatalities reported since the flu season began in September. More than 200 people have been hospitalized for the flu.
1,810 cases have been reported so far this season... Four were from Sussex County, one was from Kent County and three were from New Castle County.
Meanwhile, Indiana is experiencing regional flu activity.
In North Dakota, 1,810 laboratory-identified cases of influenza have been reported this season to the health department, with majority being children under the age of 10.
