"Nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i'm sorry", she later wrote on Twitter. After a disagreement with the Grammys producers over what song she was going to perform, Grande pulled out of the show entirely.

"F-", she tweeted, as Cardi B was announced the victor.

While Cardi B, Travis Scott, Pusha T and Nipsey Hussle all had incredible albums past year, people thought the late Mac Miller might take home the gong for his fifth studio album Swimming, which was also nominated for the category. I basically worked with her to mold it. Ask H.E.R. who's in this show.

But she was passed over in the top Grammy categories of Album, Record and Song of the Year - though her smash hit Thank U, Next, the title song off her new album, dropped after this year's nomination deadline.

"I've kept my mouth shut, but now you're lying about me", she tweeted.

She later spoke out about the situation while calling Ehrlich a liar for claiming that the Thank U Next singer believed it was too late for her to adequately prepare. "In my relationship [with Pete] at the time, things were like up and down and on and off, and so I didn't know what was going to happen and then we got back together, so I had to make a different version of it, and then we broke up again, so we ended up going with that verse". "I don't say to people, 'This is what you should do.' I approach it casually and say, hey, this might be a good idea, let's find something in the middle", he said. "It was when my creativity & self-expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend". Shortly after Cardi accepted the award, Grande hopped on Twitter to call the decision "literal bullshit" and "trash".

Pink previously took home three Grammy awards - one for best pop collaboration with vcals in 2002 for "Lady Marmalade", one in 2004 for best female rock vocal performance for "Trouble" and one in 2011 for best pop collaboration with vocals for "Imagine".
