Apex Legends leaks point to new Legends with Tesla Traps and Stims

Players are mistakenly paying for Apex Construct, thinking it's Apex Legends

VR Game Sees Huge Increase in Sales as Players Confuse it For Apex Legends

As recent datamines from modders seem to have pointed out, it appears that plenty more is on the way for the free-to-play battle royale shooter in terms of new features and content. Similarly, RealApexLeaks has pulled up an ability called "Stim" for Octane, and one called "Tesla Trap" for Wattson. It's apparently been hard for leakers to separate Apex Legends files from those for other games, and there's some debate over what to see as new versus what's simply an old codename for existing content.

Dataminers have found files suggesting the release of a free and paid Battle Pass, as well as a new Recruit mode.

"Since the launch of Apex Legends on Feb 4, visits to our store page on Steam have increased with over 4000% - and Legends isn't even available on Steam at all, it's an EA Origin exclusive!" "Apparently people are prepared to buy what they think is Apex Legends for $29.99, even thought it's a free-to-play title..."

Octane has been linked to a launch date at the end of March, possibly early April.

This includes Crypto, Husaria, Jericho, Nomad and Prophet, all of which could be future characters in Apex Legends.

And more information could be revealed with the game's next major update.

One of the main requests from fans is to remove the crashing issues from Xbox One and other platforms. Let us know over on Twitter and Facebook. "We'll always provide patch notes when these come out".
