Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea star Alvaro Morata could be on his way to Barcelona when the January transfer window opens.
According to Diario AS, Morata's agent, Juanma Lopez, arrived in Spain on Tuesday to negotiate the striker's move to Sevilla. And out of these nine, only five have come in the Premier League.
Morata missed the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg defeat to Tottenham Hotspur with what Chelsea described as a "minor hamstring injury". 'I don't speak about players that aren't with us, only those that are.
The problem for Morata, who has struggled to justify his £60m price tag ever since moving to Chelsea from Real Madrid in 2017, is that the Blues are not likely to sanction his exit until they can find a suitable replacement so as not to leave themselves short.
"He is an important player for us and we want to have him back [from injury] as soon as possible", he added.
His former club aren't believed to be interested in signing the Spaniard, with their focus on fellow Chelsea ace Eden Hazard.
Morata was signed by Chelsea to replace Diego Costa, who rejoined Atletico.
Sevilla have looked like the favourites to acquire the 26-year-old's signature, but Atletico look set to do battle with their La Liga rivals. However, Chelsea may not be keen to re-sign a player who has scored just four goals across all competitions this season and are heavily linked with AC Milan loanee Gonzalo Higuain and Bournemouth's top-scorer, Callum Wilson.
