Sarri: Chelsea need two signings in January

Transfers: Maurizio Sarri reveals what he wants Chelsea to do in the market this month

Higuain determined to leave, says AC Milan coach Gattuso

Maurizio Sarri has branded Bayern Munich "disrespectful" for their relentless pursuit of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Macedonian super-agent Fali Ramadani met Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici recently to discuss the possibility of the move for Higuain.

When asked about Chelsea's transfer targets, Sarri refused to share any information with the media, stating only that he has spoken to the club and that they are aware who he wants to bring in.

Higuain's brother is claimed to have held talks with Chelsea to assess the possibility of a deal this month.

"Then I don't know what to say, I don't know the situation".

Hudson-Odoi has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season but has starred in cup competitions for the Blues.

"I hope he will be available", Sarri said during a press conference.

"In my opinion we need two players, but it's up to the club".

"Of course if he was to go to another club then we need a replacement", he said. "I don't know anything about the market day by day or minute by minute". I am very happy with the player, he is improving a lot.

He's a player Sarri knows well having worked with him at Napoli and the club are known to be on the lookout for a new striker to replace Alvaro Morata who appears to be reaching the end of his time with Sarri.

"At the moment, for his mental condition, he's not able to play".

'I see in him a really good player who would certainly be a good face to join us'.

Chelsea have failed to score in their last two home games in the league.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final and have been criticised for their struggles in front of goal.

Maurizio Sarri has said he did not watch a single World Cup match this summer because he does not believe there is anything to learn from worldwide football.
