Putin Invites Modi to Eastern Economic Forum as Main Guest

Vivek Oberoi plays PM Narendra Modi in the biopic

Vivek Oberoi plays PM Narendra Modi in the biopic

He wrote on Twitter: "This is film is set to create history today with the poster launch of a film based on the life of world leader born in India, a RajYogi in true sense!"

Vivek Oberoi is every bit Modi in the poster of PM Narendra Modi.

The film is being directed by Omung Kumar, who has earlier helmed Sarbjit, and Mark Kom The caption of the film, as written on the poster is 'Deshbhakti Hi Meri Shakti Hai' (My love for my nation is my strength).

"I believe the film will be inspirational".

In a telephonic conversation held on Monday Putin also wished Modi success in connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections. He had even confirmed the news to Indianexpress and said, "We are just locking the script and hopefully it will finish soon, and we will begin to shoot it in September or October". I am feeling the same kind of excitement and hunger because this is a role of a lifetime for any actor. "We are very excited but nervous too". In the posters shared, Vivek doesn't look like a spitting image of our PM Modi but we hope that the actor will impress us with his acting skills in the venture.

We must say that Vivek Oberoi, who would be using his full name for the first time, looks nearly unrecognisable in the poster.

Directed by Omung Kumar B and produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh, the movie is expected to go on floors later this month. The biopic is going to be shot in Gujarat, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
