Will Chiefs or Patriots be left out in cold after AFC championship game

New England Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 1/20/19 Predictions & Odds

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.

It's the battle of two potent offenses and two mastermind head coaches, but the biggest storyline is likely between both signal callers.

Mere hours before the showdown at Arrowhead - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady released a damning hype video that featured numerous Boston Sports legends.

Just as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, Ray Lewis will always pick against the New England Patriots.

The following Patriots players are inactive against the Chiefs in the AFC championship: tight end Stephen Anderson, offensive lineman James Ferentz, defensive end Ufomba Kamalu, defensive end Keionta Davis, defensive end Deatrich Wise, defensive tackle Danny Shelton and cornerback Duke Dawson.

Still, most Chiefs fans would probably feel better if Hill had the kind of game he did the last time these two teams met. But after a demolition of the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round, many National Football League analysts believe Tom Brady and Co. will keep rolling to their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance. With Brady dropping dimes left and right, the Patriots finished the first half with as many touchdowns (five) as the Chargers (five) had first downs. They're a good team. This time will be much different since the Pats won't have the same comforts of home, they haven't won a road playoff game since 2007.

But considering Lewis once said he'd rather have Rex Ryan than Bill Belichick, we shouldn't be surprised with his selection.
