Police responded to the house after a odd 911 call just before 1 a.m. local time when someone called from Denise Closs' cellphone, and the 911 dispatcher heard "a lot of yelling", according to records from the Barron County Sheriff's Department obtained by ABC News.
Sheriff Fitzgerald says she will be reunited with relatives later tonight.
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald announced Thursday night that 13-year-old Jayme Closs was found alive.
Shortly after this a suspect was taken into custody in regards to this case. "Jayme has been found!", Kroeze posted.
Lacey Naiberg posted on Facebook after the Barron County sheriff reported that Jayme Closs had been found. Jayme went missing in October after her parents were killed at the family home in northern Wisconsin. Some tips led officials to recruit 2000 volunteers for a massive ground search on October 23.
We are planning a press briefing approximately 10 am tomorrow at the Sheriff's Department in Barron.
She was rescued nine months later with the help of two witnesses who recognized her abductors from an America's Most Wanted episode. There are no other details on the case at this time due to a fluid and active investigation. I can't wait to get my arms around her. "I've always been a glass half-full kind of guy", Sheriff Fitzgerald said at the time. "A lot of people have been praying daily, as I have".
"Tonight, we actually got false news again this afternoon and I really had my hopes up then", Sue Allard said.
Closs's disappearance was the subject of a nationwide search for the teen, with an AMBER Alert issued for the teen.
He acknowledged that Jayme may not be the same person she was before she disappeared. "I thought today was going to be the day, and then I find out two hours later she's found and I just can not believe this".
Douglas County is roughly 80 miles north of Barron County.
