Golden Globes 2019: The True Star Is The Fiji Water Girl

Sofia Carson & Gina Rodriguez Arrive In Style For Golden Globes 2019

According to Time, for the Golden Globes Fiji teamed up with Matrix Model Staffing to make sure their bottles were seen on the red carpet.

As people scrolled through their Twitter feed to see some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities pose for photographs on the Golden Globes red carpet, many were quick to notice the "water girl".

Fiji water reacted to the moment with its own joke.

Cuthbert admitted to Rom Bokobza, a writer and producer at Condé Nast, in an Instagram story uncovered by The Cut that her photo-bombing moves on the red carpet were "calculated".

Beloved American comedian Carol Burnett was presented on Sunday with the first-ever Golden Globe recognizing a lifetime career in television, an award that was named after her. Her water work lit a fire: a spokesperson for Twitter reports there were more than 50,000 tweets about Cuthbert Sunday night.

The biggest victor of the night at the Golden Globe Awards may have been Fiji Water.

The Golden Globes kicked off the award season this week with the 76th annual awards.

Based in Los Angeles, Cuthbert has been featured in a few magazine shoots as well as clothing brand campaigns. Turns out it's Canadian model Kelleth Cuthbert of Toronto, who now works for Wilhelmina International in Los Angeles and several Canadian modelling agencies, including Toronto-based Plutino and Specs in Montreal. And for a random girl serving Fiji Water.

He also thanked "the wonderful team at FX, saying, "You nurtured and loved this show, and we love you guys". In the background is Fiji Water Girl, who, in my mind, is thinking, "I think those celebs over there are dehydrated!"

"No one's really going to be looking at me", she remembers telling herself.
