Birds Of Prey Teaser Will See You Soon

In a short teaser video titled "See You Soon," an '80s pop beat plays over quick glimpses of the cast in full costume.

There's also Chris Messina a Victor Zsasz, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. I'm also just excited that [director Cathy Yan] is a woman and she's Asian. The costumes are different, Harley's look is way toned down from how she appeared in Suicide Squad, while the electronic score and the cinematography feel nearly like the work of Nicolas Winding Refn (anyone else getting Neon Demon vibes?). The script was penned by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee), who was recently announced to take over scripting duties on DC's Batgirl solo movie after Joss Whedon's departure.

The DC Comics superhero, portrayed on screen by Australian actress Margot Robbie in 2016's Suicide Squad, is back, and Robbie has shared the first look at the infamous troublemaker's new look.

Harley Quinn wants to introduce the Birds of Prey gang. fast! The Birds of Prey project will now apparently take priority as the next film to feature the popular Quinn character, with production expected to begin by the end of 2018 or early 2019.

In addition to the first photo of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in the film, today also brought us a brief first teaser for Birds of Prey - even though the film doesn't open in theaters for more than a year.

It sounds like Birds of Prey will be much grittier than Suicide Squad, which saw Cara Delevigne's June Moone wreak havoc as the mysterious Enchantress.
