It was back to school for Meghan Markle! "Grateful to HRH The Duchess of Sussex for sharing her insight", King's College wrote on its Twitter page on Thursday.

During the event, which was sponsored by the Association of Commonwealth University (ACU), Markle engaged with professors, scholarship students and leaders in conversations surrounding a number of things Markle is passionate about, like gender equality, ending modern slavery, solutions to human trafficking, peace and reconciliation and climate change.

The mom-to-be publicly debuted the navy coat on her first official royal outing in Nottingham. She reportedly jotted down notes on a pad during the discussion.

Guests described the event as "one of the best" as they left afterwards, citing Meghan's reading and a speech from Harry among the highlights.

"As a university graduate, I know the personal feeling of pride and excitement that comes with attending university".

The Duchess of Sussex has been laying low lately as she happily coasts toward her third trimester of pregnancy, but fans got a glimpse of her blossoming bump last night - and it's clearly popped!

Meghan noted, "Everyone should be afforded the opportunity to receive the education they want, but more importantly the education they have the right to receive".

'So if someone's going to have a home birth, it should be done near a hospital, ' she added, explaining that two out of a thousand women in the country suffer serious birth complications. The fund was set up in memory of one of Prince William and Prince Harry's friends who died in a auto crash back in 2002. The royal stepped out with her husband, Prince Harry, on Tuesday evening (Dec. 4) for a private charity carol service benefitting the Henry Van Straubenzee Memorial Fund, started in honour of his late friend.
