Ameem Haq, Shoaib Malik's manager also congratulated the new parents. They had announced that Sania was expecting around the same time when Shahid Kapoor - Mira Rajput and Neil Nitin Mukesh - Rukmini Sahay broke the news. Sania delivered the baby in Rainbow Hospital in Hyderabad.
Malik and Sania tied the knot in 2010 in a Hyderabadi-Muslim wedding.
Sania at the "Goa Fest 2018" earlier this year had said that their child would keep surnames of both of them.
