Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino To Be Sentenced For Tax Evasion

Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his brother, Marc Sorrentino, will serve time in prison for tax evasion.

Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Deena Cortese all dressed in black to accompany the 36-year-old to court. Asked if he had a message to his fans by reporters afterward, Sorrentino flashed the peace sign.

The entire "Jersey Shore" cast was reportedly present at the courthouse Friday in support of their castmate.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is speaking out after he was sentenced to eight months in prison on Friday for violating tax laws.

"Michael accepts the court's judgment", Sorrentino's lawyer, Henry E. Klingeman, told the Daily News. Other Jersey Shore cast members who attended the sentencing also didn't comment afterward. Marc Sorrentino was arrested along with his brother in 2014. Sorrentino reportedly paid no taxes in 2011, despite making somewhere around $2 million. He was sentenced to two years and a $75k fine.

Marc Sorrentino admitted that during tax years 2010, 2011 and 2012, he earned taxable income and that he assisted his accountants in preparing his personal tax return for those years, willfully providing them with false information.
