Following reports she married partner Brad Falchuk over the weekend, the actress posted a simple picture of two hands with bands on the ring fingers.

To mark the occasion, American Horror Story exec Brad shared a photo to his Instagram showing the Iron Man actress sitting on a beach and in the caption, he gushed about her beauty and her brains. Guests included Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan, and Rob Lowe, to name a few. The couple got engaged eight months ago and news broke about their wedding just two days prior the big day on September 27. They met when Paltrow made a guest appearance on Glee - the TV show Falchuk co-produced.

They were both married at the time, but their friendship turned romantic when they found themselves single in 2014.

Although this is the actress' second marriage, it was her first wedding, as she previously eloped with Chris Martin. They share two children together: 13-year-old daughter Apple and 11-year-old son Moses.

Gwyneth Paltrow posted this snap with fiancé Brad Falchuk in a Valentine message on her Instagram page.

The wedding comes just days after Paltrow celebrated her 46th birthday.

"Not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy".

In an interview with ET in January, Paltrow said she was too "busy" to start planning her wedding to 47-year-old Falchuk, but wanted it to be a low-key affair. "I've never had a wedding before". But not Gwyneth's ex-husband Chris Martin, because come on, no couple can couple that consciously. Maybe that's why, even though you are the best person ever, you keep getting better every year.
