"That was a goal the Harlem Globetrotters would have been proud of", raved the commentator, after a strike that began in Arsenal's area, featured volleys from three players and a no look pass from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and ended with Ramsey playing it into the net off a post.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has insisted that the Gunners are correct in their decision to not offer Aaron Ramsey a new deal at the club (via BBC).

"We've seen him [Ramsey] in the Euros dominating when he was absolutely fantastic, we've seen the season [2013-14] he has with Arsenal scoring 20-plus goals and was wonderful, we've seen he can score in big games, winning cup finals", Wright told BBC Radio 5 live. Wright added. "Maybe Unai Emery has seen that".

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey came off the bench to enjoy a dream cameo against Fulham on Sunday - but his future appears to be away from the Gunners.

It only took Ramsey a matter of seconds to put Arsenal 3-1 up with a sweet finish courtesy of an Aubameyang's assist. "So if he does go, somebody is getting a very good player".

Alexandre Lacazette scored twice as Arsenal thrashed Fulham to extend their winning run to nine matches - but the forward insists it is too early to talk of securing a return to the Premier League top four.

I think it's time for him to move on.

"I believe in us, we believe in our process but also we must keep taking confidence".

Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty and Manchester City their chance of pulling ahead in the Premier League as the champions could only draw 0-0 with Liverpool in a tightly contested game at Anfield. Four or five years ago, every club wanted him - Manchester City, Barcelona.

"We tried to win the game", he said.
