The Duchess of Sussex is still trying to move on with her life and embrace her new Royal title, but her half-sister Samantha Markle is hell-bent on continuing her public campaign against her.
While appearing on United Kingdom talk show "Jeremy Vine" Monday morning, Samantha issued a public apology to her sister in her first live television interview and expressed her regrets after lashing out at Meghan on Twitter and in the media.
Ch-ch-check out her interview with Jeremy Vine (above) to find out what else Samantha had to say about what's gone on with the Duchess of Sussex, and how "so much has spun out of control that was never meant to".
On the show, Samantha also apologised to Meghan, 37, for some of her verbal attacks following her and the Markle family's snub from their wedding. "You are a humanitarian".
While it's unclear whether Samantha is being honest, or simply looking for more time in the spotlight, we'll keep you posted if Duchess Meghan gives any response to the interview.
On Jeremy Vine's programme Markle said that in her many interviews she had been lashing out at the media and not her suister.
Samantha's now in London - a place she's "always wanted to see" - but thinks it's unlikely that Meghan will speak to her in person. During an appearance on British show Jeremy Vine, Samantha said that she "wish [es] things could be different".
She was not invited to the royal wedding and has not spoken to Meghan in years. And, it was just last month that Samantha was hurling elementary insults at Meghan via her personal Twitter account. "To my sister, absolutely, and to Harry as well and the royal family". "So I think that snowballed unfortunately to a lot of hurt feelings on everyone's part, and I'm hoping that we can have a happy ending". "The DUCHASS should be humane to our father who has given her everything and this media crap can stop! But I think I said that at a point which seemed inescapable".
"He really wasn't up to par, but because he wanted to be at the wedding, he ignored the signs", she said.
The duchess has also been estranged from her and Samantha's father, Thomas Markle, for several months after he too made a decision to run to the press and gossip about his daughter and the royal family. Could this be the apology needed for Meghan forgive and forget all the past antics that her family unleashed?
