In a separate incident earlier this month, the "Bodak Yellow" star made headlines after an altercation at a New York Fashion Week event with fellow rapper, Nicki Minaj. Bottles, chairs, and hookah were thrown at them, and both of them was hurt in the attack.
Because the charges are misdemeanours, she was eligible to be released on a desk appearance ticket, Lava said.
"We expect the matter to be resolved expeditiously".
Almánzar will likely face reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges, TMZ reports. The incident is reported to have happened on August 29 during a Migos performance at the club which Cardi attended.
Reportedly, the mother of one told her friends to attack the bartenders and it soon got chaotic.
A spokesperson for the NYPD told CNN that in addition to the misdemeanor count of assault, the burgeoning rap star has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment for her alleged involvement in a brawl at Angels Strip Club on August 29.
"Cardi is heading down to the precinct to claim her name and innocence", said an insider.
The Bronx rapper's career has been skyrocketing over the past year.
There's confusion about what role Cardi B may have played, if any, some claiming she planned the attack - others saying it was a spontaneous bust up linked to some kind of relationship dispute.
