Speaking to her Instagram followers at the start of the video, posted on late Friday night or early Saturday morning, the troubled Mean Girls actress said she wanted to introduce her followers to a Syrian refugee family she had met in Moscow who "really need help". That's when the mom took action and punched Lindsay Lohan in the face.
"Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met", she said in the video, "a Syrian refugee family that I'm really anxious about". "They're trafficking children, I won't leave until I take you, now I know who you are, don't f-k with me". The New York Times reports that one point, she was even "America's favorite troubled teen, treated with scorn and sexism". As Lohan gets louder and saying things that can't be understood, the family gets up to leave and get away from her.
She continues: "Do you want to stay in a hotel tonight?" She offers them a hotel room, suggesting that the boys could watch movies on a TV or computer. I'll buy you a room.
Lohan spits fire at them as she trails the group.
The freakish incident was broadcast by Lohan herself on Instagram live, where she could be seen approaching a family, who appear to be homeless, before offering to provide them with a hotel for the night.
The video appears legitimate, but since it was recorded onto Instagram Live, it no longer remains on Lohan's page. She speaks to them in what sounds like Arabic with an apparent Arabic accent. "Come with me, I'll take care of you guys", she tells the family, and then turns her attention to one of the children. She continues: "I'm with you boys, don't worry". "You are taking these children", she adds. The mother then appears to strike Lohan knocking her to the ground. Do you want me to give you a hotel? "I'm a good person but really, this is not right".
At first the family are pleasant and smiling but as Lohan becomes more forceful demanding the child come with her their demeanor changes.
"I'm like in shock right now, I'm just like so scared", she said emotionally before the video ended. Another asked, "Did Lindsay Lohan tried [sic] to take away these kids from their parents?" And in part because she's clearly not well, and should be the one getting help, not giving it.
