The most frustrating transfer saga of the summer for Manchester City fans was the club's pursuit of Napoli midfielder Jorginho, which lasted for an eternity before the player eventually joined Chelsea instead.

For this season's contest, Chelsea are drawn with BATE Borisov, PAOK and MOL Vidi in Group L, for which The Blues' coach, Maurizio Sarri expected to rotate his squad, and the 27-year-old Moses is expected to be handed playing opportunities in the Europa League.

He was close to joining defending champions Manchester City before Sarri commandeered him for the Blues.

Chelsea summer signing Jorginho has revealed that he was blown away by the Premier League club's training facilities at Cobham when he first arrived in London.

He said: 'The differences between the Premier League and Serie A? "It is also quite hard to explain certain things", Jorginho was quoted as saying by beIN Sports. Although the competition might seem to small for a top level club like the Blues, they are tipped to be one of the favourites to take home the trophy at the end of the season. "Everybody knows this, of course, but I am enjoying it a lot", he said. I like it, the games are played at a high tempo.

The summer arrivals of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have intensified the competition for a starting spot in Sarri's 4-3-3 system. At Cobham, we have 38 pitches.

Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC's website, Nevin said: "It is no great surprise that Jorginho has made more passes than any other Premier League player so far this season, almost 50 more than his nearest rival".

Chelsea's next game after the worldwide break is against Cardiff City on September 15.

The midfielder set an incredible record for Chelsea during the match even as the West London dwellers battled hard to claim a precious 2-1 victory over Rafa Benitez men.
