Fourteen-year-old Apple Martin looks all grown up in a photo her mum, Gwyneth Paltrow, posted to Instagram overnight.

"I would rather die than let my kid eat Cup-a-Soup", Paltrow once wrote on her blog.

The Oscar-winning actress and founder of the Goop lifestyle brand does not often share pictures of her children (Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, both with Coldplay singer Chris Martin).

'It was really shocking to me because I never thought that I would be a person who got post-natal depression, ' she said, noting the contrast of her moods following each of her pregnancies. "No, not at all... the term is a bit dorky".

Earlier this month Gwyneth, who's also a food writer, said she made a decision to keep the Coldplay frontman's surname following their split. She said that she had postnatal depression and the doctor tried to put her on antidepressants.

In the magazine, Paltrow explained why she chose to give marriage a second shot after her "conscious uncoupling" from ex-husband Chris Martin in 2014.

Chris Martin has moved on with actress Dakota Johnson.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk's nuptials are just around the corner, and the loved-up couple has reportedly been spotted around the Hamptons doing last-minute preparations for their big day.

Gwyneth and Chris "consciously uncoupled" in March 2014 after 10 years of marriage and their divorce was finalized in July 2016.
