McIntyre tweeted that Tristan initially replied to Draymond's apology with a "nah man", and Green went on to say "come on, I didn't mean it" before Tristan "leveled him with a punch".

Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors got involved in an altercation in overtime during Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals.

Amid reports that Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson punched rival Draymond Green at an ESPYs afterparty, one Cavaliers fan set up a Facebook event to hold a parade in Thompson's honor.

Apparently this all happened inside LA nightspot Delilah during a private party and allegedly superstar teammates LeBron James and Kevin Durant helped break it up.

Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead was also in attendance and let a few details loose as well.

At least they waited until after the ESPYs. As the players were shaking hands on the court, Green snubbed Thompson and intentionally walked past him.

"Draymond Green was not the aggressor, he was trying to make peace".

Back in June, Thompson and Green got into it during overtime in Game 1 and the trash-talk only got worse as the Warriors swept the Cavs easily. During the series, Green offered to "meet Thompson in the streets any day".

"'He tried to shake my hand, I said 'Tristan, we ain't cut the same.' - Draymond on not shaking hands with Tristan Thompson after Game 4".

'It was a sucker punch, ' said one source who attended the party.

Which is why everyone was stunned when Thompson, according to sources, out of nowhere attacked Green. "It was more like a shove". The date is Tristan's jersey number and the time is set to mark the 3-1 deficit the Cavs overcame in the 2016 National Basketball Association finals against the Warriors to win the title.
