US President Donald Trump frequently used the word "nigger" while he was the host of the reality television show Celebrity Apprentice and there are tapes that can confirm it, according to a new memoir by one of Trump's former White House advisers, Omarosa Manigault Newman. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders responded to questions about Manigault Newman's soon-to-be published book, which, according to the Guardian, contains allegations that Mr. Trump used racial slurs before and during his presidency.
After Manigault Newman confided her desire to hear the N-word tape to then-White House communications director Hope Hicks, the Unhinged author writes that Hicks then told chief of staff John Kelly that Manigualt Newman was "close to getting her hands on the tape", leading to her termination.
"It had finally sunk in that the person I'd thought I'd known so well for so long was actually a racist", she said in the memoir. She writes that over time, she came to the realization that Trump was a racist, something the rest of us already knew.
"I have the outtakes to "The Apprentice" where he says every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever", Arnold told the Seattle-based radio station KIRO. Manigault Newman says she turned down the offer.
After the "Access Hollywood" tape leaked in 2016, rumors mounted that there is unaired footage on "The Apprentice" of Trump making derogatory statements about women and minorities.
In her book, "Unhinged", she insisted that the reports are true, although she admits she had not personally heard him use the N-word. The campaign would have tasked her with "diversity" outreach.
"I saw him put a note in his mouth".
"Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations". Since Trump was ever the germophobe, I was shocked he appeared to be chewing and swallowing the paper. "It must have been something very, very sensitive", she wrote, according to the Post.
