LeBron James successfully opens I Promise school

In the interview, James criticized Trump for using sports to "divide" America, such as when he misrepresents athletes' kneeling during the National Anthem as a protest against America. Lemon nor James has responded to Trump's tweet.

At the end of the interview, Lemon asked if James, "What would you say to the president if he were sitting right here?" Mr. Trump also went after Lemon, calling him the "dumbest man on television".

It is unclear, but it is possible Trump's final line is referring to Michael Jordan, who is commonly compared to James as one of the greatest basketball players ever.

Trump seemed to take issue with some of James' comments. CNN is also one of Mr. Trump's favorite foes.

James said he "can't sit back and say nothing".

James was interviewed by CNN's Don Lemon on Monday, after his LeBron James Family Foundation and the Akron (Ohio) Public Schools launched a new elementary school for at-risk children in his hometown.

"Walking these hallways and seeing, when I was driving here, just the streets that I walked, some of the stores are still up when I was growing up", James told ESPN. The institute will feature a non-traditional school year with greater access for the students to the school, it's facilities and it's teachers during their downtime.

This week on The Howard Eskin Podcast Barkley called James' entire National Basketball Association career-the success, combined with his ability to do good for the community and stay out of trouble-one of the greatest accomplishments in sports history.

"The most important thing we can give them is structure". They're just playing a role.
