Bills GM says no guarantees for newly-acquired Corey Coleman

Cleveland Browns trade WR Corey Coleman to Buffalo Bills for draft pick

Browns trade former 1st-round pick Corey Coleman to Bills

The Bills now have Coleman, Kelvin Benjamin, Andre Holmes, and Zay Jones as their starting wide receivers, but they will need to find a balance between their front-runners. During his first two injury-plagued years in the National Football League, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound wideout has totaled just 56 receptions (131 targets) for 718 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games (18 starts).

With Josh Gordon yet to report to training camp and Corey Coleman traded, the Cleveland Browns still have interest in free agent wideout Dez Bryant, according to an NFL Network report Monday.

Buffalo has agreed to terms on a trade with the Cleveland Browns to acquire WR Corey Coleman.

Sunday night, it was announced that the Browns were trading the former top NFL Draft pick.

Coleman was limited throughout portions of Saturday's practice with the Browns due to hamstring soreness, but the injury did not hinder the trade.

Coleman's time ran out in Cleveland under new general manager John Dorsey.

In the NFL, Coleman's career never took off the way he had hoped.

During the offseason workouts, offensive coordinator Todd Haley let it be known that it was "a make-or-break year" for Coleman. He was selected by the Browns after they sent their number 2 overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles. The video also had a message, probably for his former team and doubters: "I've got some s- to prove". He has just over 700 yards and five touchdowns since being drafted out of Baylor.
