"It's clear that we have [a lot] of goalkeepers but we want to work in the future with three goalkeepers in the first team. We want to keep the respect for these players and to find the captain and choose very well the best player for that".

Arsenal's first senior pre-season friendly sees them take on Atletico Madrid on July 26.

"Not all the coaches have the same relationship with a player and I have my personality".

"I have information on the players from the club, from the people around me".

This week, the Gunners added Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi to the list of summer recruits which also includes Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Bernd Leno.

But, Emery insisted his squad needs to be bursting at the seams with players willing to step up.

Although Unai Emery didn't give a direct no as answer about getting advice from Arsene Wenger but he indirectly says that he would like to do everything on his own with out the help of the former Arsenal manager.

"Then, we are looking at who are the players whose personality is the best in the dressing room".

Torreira becomes Unai Emery's fourth signing of the summer transfer window as the new man in charge at Arsenal looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for trophies next season.

"I know this player is very important for the supporters, he grew up here with Arsenal".

While I believe Emery has not had as big of an input on transfers as many would like to believe, he still has gone about doing his job incredibly efficiently. "I said to Ivan, Raul and Sven [Gazidis, Sanllehi and Mislintat, the collective dealing with contracts and transfers] he's an important player for me". "I want to win titles, titles, titles", said Guendouzi, who will wear #29 with the Gunners.

Guendouzi, a France U20 worldwide, said that Arsenal is his dream club, one that he wanted to play for since childhood.
