But Digital Extremes did reveal that the Switch port of Warframe was being handled by Panic Button, the same studio responsible for bringing Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Rocket League to Nintendo's hybrid console.
That range would represent a big increase from the Switch's current baseline of about 10 games released per week, on average, over the a year ago (a number that includes indie titles as well as games from major publishers). The initial announcement of the game was made at this years TennoLive 20189 - free-to-play titles still have a questionable reputation among some players who believe such games often lack imagination and content. And it's all free to play, to boot!
