Lovato has been open about her struggles with drug abuse and addiction, but was believed to have been sober for the past six years.

Demi took the party home, and at around 11:30 Tuesday morning her assistant went into Demi's bedroom and found her unconscious. A source close to her said she will seek treatment after leaving the hospitalization.

Following her apparent overdose on July 24, Live Nation released this statement to ET: "Demi's Atlantic City appearance on July 26th has been canceled in light of today's news". In June, she surprised fans by admitting she relapsed in lyrics for her song "Sober".
