Vulgar Samantha Bee Set to Apologize Again To Ivanka Trump

"Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night", the network tweeted Thursday. "It was inappropriate and inexcusable".

On Twitter, Autotrader said Bee's comments were "offensive and unacceptable" and suspended its sponsorship of the show.

Liberals, on the other hand, argued it was President Trump who was guilty of having a double standard after he called for Bee to be fired.

It was only a matter of time, really, before Samantha Bee took the Kathy Griffin route and redacted her apology for her recent unacceptable conduct aimed at President Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka Trump. "But let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless c**t". Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to fuckin' stop it. Many conservatives who are critical of ABC's decision to fire Barr immediately demanded the cancellation of Bee's show, and they aren't alone.

TBS is happy that Bee apologised for the comment and gave no further information on whether there would be consequences.

"While her show placed the blame for that squarely on the Trump administration, Bee on Thursday night laid the blame on "...past administrations" for immigration policies that can see families separated during attempts to cross the border illegally.

But after this week's show, I won't be watching her ever again.

Her apology came after some backlash, including from White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and NBC's Megyn Kelly. Sometimes I should probably have a filter.

"The snowflakes on the right - and yes, there are plenty on the right, too - tried to drag me into this, saying I should be fired because I compared Trump to an orangutan", Maher explained.

Actress Amber Tamblyn called Bee "a national treasure and one of the only exemplifications women have of anger in this country".

Both have since apologized for their remarks, but not before political cartoonists had their say. (I'm a manic sort of mean girl myself.) While I don't share her politics, I like her delivery and her sass, and the fact that she's Canadian is even more delightful, because who knew Canadians were amusing?
